George,

	I must say that I disagree with your decision to isolate yourself and 
the team from the diving community. You are allowing these boneheads to 
govern your actions. Act don't react! The full impact of your 
contribution will only be realized in the future. This is bigger than 
any single exploration. If they silence you they will have free reign to 
push their methods and ideologies, without anyone to call bullshit!

	Now about the exploration. Who is it for anyway? What good is it if you 
have to keep it to yourselves? It will be like a masterpiece of art in a 
private collection that nobody ever sees, appreciates or learns from. 
Keep the WKPP in the public domain where it will continue to be the 
single greatest contribution to the diving community.

	The community will support you, as you have seen from the reaction on 
the lists. But what happens next time? Will the grass roots support that 
you isolated yourself from be there to voice an opinion in your favor?
