I just called Uwatec USA this morning to get some info on the Atlantis I 
rebreather (there is a product review in this month's Skin Diver magazine).
I had called yesterday - Frank Marshall - and was told he was in a meeting.

This morning there is a message on their machine that says that, as of
today 4/24/96, they have been closed by their European parent company and
that they had no warning of this. 

For my part, I have nothing but good to say of the service they gave me. 
They recently replaced my two year-old Air-X with a brand new one, because
of transmitter fault. They were helpful and easy to reach by phone. I
guess this all stems from the Cochrane law suit.
