Subject: Now we're gonna have some fun.

Get this. Hal Watts and George Irvine will be doing a live
"in-your-face" debate regarding deep air training pros and cons. Yes,
boys and girls, it's going to be the fight of the century. Our boy George
will no doubt be "floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee."

Where and when: In Ocala, Florida during the week of Aug. 29 - Sept. 1, 1996.

Yep, just received my issue of DeepTech. The event is being sponsored by
DeepTech and includes "Advanced & Technical Workshops, and certification
courses. The certification courses run the gamut from cavern to Trimix.
Guys like Jarrod Jarrod Jablonski and Steve Berman will be teaching full
cave, Lamar Hires -- Side Mount, etc. The list goes on.

Workshops include "Gear Configuration for Extreme Diving" with George
Irvine and Lamar Hires, Zacaton and other interesting caves with Jim
Bowden and Ann Kristovich, Rebreathers with Bret Gilliam, etc.

Yes, it looks like many of the tech heavies will be there -- many more
names than I have listed here.

The event is called the "Dog Days of August '96".

For more information and a registration package DeepTech lists the
following number: 1-800-250-6858. Please don't email me. Pick up a copy
of DeepTech or call the above number.

Standard Disclaimer: I don't work for DeepTech. However, I do live about
40 minutes from Ocala and plan on having some fun. Hey, I work part time
as a jazz pianist around the Gainesville/Ocala area. Anybody know if I
can get a gig out of this event?
