think you know it all, then hang up your fins, because nobody knows it all. And without even knowing who you are, I'll bet Bob, I hang up my fins after every dive, and I still know it all. Hanging the fins keeps them from deteriorating. By the way, if somebody want to go nitrox or trimix diving with an instructor, that is fine, they should pay for the co-pilot. However, you and I both know that this can be taught in five minutes to most hominids, if you skip the tai chi breathing, the telepathic diving, the oxygen cleaning horseshit, and the rest of the bull. Memorizing litle formulas and counting on your fingers may be ok in central florida, where drivers tests can take days, but in the real world the inability to set up a differential equation is like not being able to walk and chew gum. -G
