Hi Rich,

I hope you don't mind me sending this via techdiver - I tried to mail it
directly but it bounced. Apologies to everyone on the list!

I know of three caves at Moke Manu. One has a small entrance at about 70
feet and three pretty-good size chambers. The last chamber is
potentially dangerous.

However, the cave I was referring to in the post is at Shark's Cove.
Outside the "eleveator", turn right and go about 100 yards. There's a
tube-cave that has two entrances, one on either end. Plenty of natural
light (Note: not the really big tube near the left corner of the reef
flat). In the back of that are entrances to two other tunnels. The one
on the left might go, but there is a restriction that I've never tried to
get passed. The one on the right has no major restrictions, and goes
back quite a ways. Eventually it bends to the right where you get into
freshwater. There is a low room with a very silty bottom. This is where
I got into trouble, and this is where about a half dozen divers (usually
Marines or visitors) have died in the last 12 years.

Aloha,
Rich
