As some of you know I am down here in Florida finishing my full cave class
with JJ this week. Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet the most
fascinating woman. She tells me she plans on setting the womans Deep Air
record sometime in the near future. I tried to explain to her that deep air
diving was crazy and only a complete idiot would try something like that,
but she told me that she has given too much of herself to this monumental
task of breaking the record. She was absolutely convinced she could do it,
and I wish her good luck. You have to respect her drive and determination
to accomplish this goal. So, expect to see Ashley Summers as the name of
the woman breaking the deep air record sometime in the near future.

I'm supposed to see her again tonight, we're going to go out for dinner
and a movie. I'm looking forward to our date tonight.

On another note the cave class is going good. I'm almost finished with
my full cave class. The springs are starting to get a bit tannic however.
I'll give you one of my detailed trip reports when I get home.
