Nathan, I'm not very familiar with the Divemate and U.S. Divers Matrix computers, but the Aladin Sport is definitely superior. I'm sure >90% of the members of tech and cavers will support the Aladin Sport and Aladin Pro. These are bomb proof dive computers which have had many years of use and abuse by the best divers around the world. Look in any tech or cave books and you're sure to see Aladin Pro's being used (when using air of course). Cave divers swear by them, and they bet their lives on them. Anyway, if you're only interested in no-decompression diving the Aladin Sport is the way to go. It has the same algorithm and display as the Aladin Pro minus a few features. 1) It doesn't beep when ascending too quickly (but still displays a "slow arrow") 2) If you do go into deco then it will tell you where to do your stop (ie 10 ft) but not how long. Everything else is the same. 9 logged dives, altidude dive adjustment, switches on in water (automaticly), no multiple screens to scan through while diving (Depth, no deco limits, max depth, ascent warning, deco stop) Well, if you are convinced you want a Aladin Sport, I'm willing to sell mine. I do a lot of deco diving and need the Aladin Pro which will give me the total deco time. My Sport is a couple of years old, but works great. If you're interested let me know. I'll sell it for $200.
