    Eric, I use your suggestion. For less than 40 minuts at 300 I use 4 ata, 
less than 60 , 3 ata, and out to an over 100 I use two ata for the first stop. 
This has produced a major reduction in discomfort for the rest of the deco.

     Anyone who sees your work would immediately visualize why this should be 
done, like I did - thank you for that.

     The problem, as usual, is that what is taught in deco diving is so far off 
base that most people are terrified to do it the way I do - remember they are 
taught that the "deep stops" are really bottom time.
