Ultrasonic Doppler is used in many Hyperbaric units
and at least by DCIEM if not other agencies as a way
of dectecting moving bubbles in the circulation.
It is a very useful method and several grading systems
have been defined so the amount of gas in some ones
circulation can be scored.
One of our chamber people asserts that he can hear t
Doppler dectable bubbles in EVERYONE who is subjected
to hyperbaric treatment.
