What are you guys talking about? I think Sallot was the guy giving away a
set
of 104's for a good reason not to breath the long hose. I would think that you
guys are answering your own questions on why we don't use computers, other than
the Beuchat for tracking purposes ( so we can print out depth, time, temp for
mapping).
I realize these toys are fun, but any dumb asshole should be able to figure
out that if you must use the Nemisis, run the computer body down to a shoulder
strap so that you get a clear signal, and then already know how to deco before
you get in the water, so that you are not dependent on underater electronics
except for amusement.
Why all of you walk up to every wall you see, and begin beating your heads
against it is beyond me. In Jody's case, what did you do, break your hammer?
I would sugest that some of thes dive manufacturers either actually try
diving,
or start talking to those who really do, rather than making things and then
telling us we need them.
I talked to somebody art Navy today, and passed on what hs been happening
here with various pieces of dive gear. You guys can fool yourselves all of the
time, and others some of the time, but not for long. Carl Heinzl is right. - G
