The Apeks or Posieden auto dump valves do aloow you to shut them off
completely, allow thisa can be overridden by manually pressing them. (this
is quite useful to stop insulating air escaping from your suit on an hour's
freezing boatride back to shore) They are usually fitted to the shoulder,
but I guess you could wrist mount (although you'd lose some off the
advantages it would be no worse than an ordinary mushroom valve type cuff
dump) but they are quite bulky so whether it would be suitable for cave
diving I don't know.
