I have heard that a breath of Helium feels like a cold draft because it has a higher heat transfer rate, as John Crea's numbers show. It would draw heat faster from the lungs than air, but only for an instant since it does have a lower heat capacity and ends up absorbing less heat in the end. I have never had a breath of trimix, but this sounds reasonable to me. This could certainly add to psycosomatic cold. I'm never cold once I stop thinking about it, but if I were reminded every breath.... Roger
