Rich, Respiratory heat loss can indeed become a major factor, especially at depths greater than 600ft. However, if we could compare the heat loss from a nitrogen-oxygen mix as compared to a helium-oxygen mix, the helium mix would probably be about the same as the nitrogen- oxygen due to other considerations besides just heat capacity.
