George, Can you please take the time to explain to everyone why it is necessary to have a pressure relief valve, and where they can obtain one. The pressure relief merely allows the reg to vent in the case of a first stage creep or failure , rather than blowing the hose or the drysuit inflator valve. On normal reg you would have some second stage that would act like a presure relief. Upon this occuring, you would then shutdown the bottle, and operate it from the tank valve when you needed it, assuming you or your buddy were aware that it was happening. In an emergency, such as an ocean as ascent, you could switch to your wing inflator, but in cave, it is best to get a transfusion when needed, rather than risk the cold of the helium . This happened to JJ, and Casey had to flush him out three times to warm him back up at deco. These things come in the Poseiden dry suit inflation reg, and I would assume in any other commercial inflation reg. They also come built into the new Poseiden Oden, but that is a little much for suit inflation, although I keep one as a backup, since I would not use a primary reg with a relief valve, only on a stage or inflator bottle. You can buy the separate little opr valve from Jack Vilas in Morgan CIty, LA , where you get anything like this. They cost $30 , and he will send you them in the mail, if you can understand a Louisiana accent. I keep a spare of these as well. = G
