Subject: hyperbaric use of Miniox / Teledyne
Hello

Does anyone know any reason that a Miniox and/or a Teledyne oxygen meter
could not be used in a rebreather loop underwater assuming of course that it
could be adequately sealed.

I just ran a few tests* in my pressure pot and the Miniox seems to work like
a champ down to 2ata of o2 (better than I can claim for myself). It also
seems to tolerate high humity well. I had it plumbed into the loop of my
semi closed rebreather while we were developing it but now I would like to
dive the rebreather with the sensor installed uw.

I am itching to put the miniox in a can and go dive it. Diving semi closed
without a sensor is a drag when you know that it is so easy to tighten the
loop if only you had a sensor array. I would really appreciate any info
about why this may not work, or how to make it work better!

Thanks
Bill
