George -- For any of your "how to" videos, the one addition I would suggest is a disclaimer that might be useful to hold off any liability suits. Other video producers I know have always steered clear of "how to" vids because of the potential exposure: some bozo gets the vid, thinks that just by watching the vid then s/he is ready for anything -- and then kaks during a dive. His/her family knows that the vid was the stimulus or makes a claim that without it, the deceased wouldn't have gotten into trouble and goes for the deep pockets -- yours, your family's, the sponsoring organization's. Could be that you have insurance -- but that's a double-hosed rig (or is it "double-edged sword"?): lawyers look for the insured as the best target, since the un-insured usually don't have spit in the 1st place. Not that disclaimers are always jam up and jelly tight in court, but..... Just another suggestion, from someone with no assets anyway... Christopher A.
