Subject: TRIPLES
I am thinking about putting together a set of triple Genesis 120's. I am
going to use the Dive Rite MVS manifold. I am going to two sets of bands
together so it makes a nice neat three holer. To carry it I am thinking
about using the Dive Rite single tank mount on the center cylinder. Using
this I can attach my backplate and wings as usual. I have not decided which
side to put the isolator valve on.

Has anyone put together a triple set like this? Surely the WKPP boys have.

I am going to try to make it all the way to Pothole this time. (JOKE)
Actually, here's the deal:

Last year when I went to Hatteras to meet Rod Farb and do a week of diving
on the Monitor, getting air was sometimes a problem and GAS was
nonexistent. The diveshop would either be closed, or we would be getting in
too late, or leaving too early, or SOMETHING. I had to bring a big O2 and
helium in my truck all the way from Knoxville. What a pain in the ass. I had
two sets of doubles PUMPED with a super rich He mix. This way I could use
them for two dives each. An air topoff from 1500psi would give me an ideal
bottom mix for the second dive. That took care of 4 dives but still having
to carry K bottles and field mix. I was thinking that if I had a set of
triples, I could leave the K bottles home this year. (I have enough tanks to
take care of the deco for 6 240' dives)

Any input on tank assembling? By the way, if you've not dived the Monitor,
get in touch with Rod. He's a cool guy and it's a fun trip.

Mike
