Rich, I think rat has done some at 500 off of Freeport, but
remember the commercial community can do this with ease. The guys
who work out of Fresh Creek , for example, routinely dive to 800 
feet and more, both surface supplied and as excursions from 
bells to work on the Autec stuff for the Navy. These people,
as well as the Louisianna crowd, would see all kinds of exotics
due to the water they are diving in (Tongue of the Ocean, Gulf of
Mexico). They also have camera equipment made for thee depths. - G
