Subject: Re: Manifolds

I had the same choice last year. I went with the Dive-Rite for the
following reasons:

The Dive-Rite uses O-ring seals, the Sherwood has seals that are
more like a gasket. Some people have had trouble with the
Sherwood leaking if the tanks are lifted by the manifold.

The Dive-Rite points the regs perpendicular to the tank, the
the Sherwood points them up at about 45 degrees. The Dive-Rite
gives me a more compact setup.

The Dive-Rite is a modular system. If you want you can get caps
and H-valve adapters to use your tanks as singles. (this is not
a feature I use but it struck me as a good idea)

I've got about 40 dives on my Dive-Rite with no problems. I would (will)
buy another one.
