Sorry for the perpetuation of a non-diving thread, but...

What it means is that we're omnivores - we eat whatever we can get our
hands on that's edible. We're generalists. That's how our prehistoric
ancestors survived. Besides, the dentition is a moot point. What we
lack is a herbivore's digestive system.
Even God is an omnivore, according to Homer Simpson ("Dear God, I try to
be a good person....but of course you already know that, since you're
omnivorous and everything...")
