Oh, I have little doubt that there are a great many biochemical factors
involved with narcosis, of which nitrogen is only one.  Very experienced
deep air divers have noticed very subtle effects of "slowed thinking" for
MONTHS after "rigorous" diving regimes.  Something tells me that the PPN2
does not remain high for that long......
