Apparently, there are those who take exception to my drywuit
information, but wil not tell me why. Let's go over it. I use DUI TLS 350 with
C-4 Thinsulate. It is self -donning, it it comfortable, it is flexible, warm,
and provides incredible buoyancy control. I can swim in it, and I can get out of
the water and run in it, as I had to do the last time I was at Ginnie to chase
the dumb red neck who stole my O2 bottle.

Neopreme - changes buoyancy and thermal characteristics with depth,
is uncomfortable, binding, heavy, and at depth is a thin as paper.

Rubber - is heavy , but real dry. Awkward and clumsy.

Crushed foam - much like the trilaminate, only the material will not
hold up as well at the stiching, compresses at depthm wears out too
quickly. good idea that did not work in practice, like so many others
      in the dive business.

The cost of the other three is less than a custom DUI 350, but that is the
ONLY reason to use them. The bullshit about less drag is just that. I keep
hearing this from people who can not out run me with my own scooter. -G
