hey john,

just got off the phone with claybaugh..

he said he too couldn't remember the origin of the discussion but that
he felt like it probably was refering to tests done on microorganisims
at great depth.  he also suggested we contact a man from rodchester new
york by the name of "marquis".. he has done extensive research in this
area and has a chapter in an upcomming book on the subject (i beleive
he said peter bennit was also involved).  john claybaugh met with
marquis at a symposium at duke two years ago.  he also spoke of two
german twin brothers from dlr (german equivalent of nasa), who have
done studies in the area as well.. he couldn't remember their names.
