Reaching the valves is like scratching in your ear with your elbow! I am also not double jointed! One solution: Turn your cylinders upside down. Everybody can scratch their arse? After I have seen this from an old cave diver, and started trying it, many divers have copied me and are happy with the setup. You will find that the centre of gravity will also change and that your overall profile in the water will be more optimal (throw away the ankle weights). The longer hoses is not a problem (you should already have one?) Try this it might work?
