Subject: Gear rigging video and independent tanks

The WKPP gear rigging video show hoses that are run down from the first stages.
This is a great steamlining suugestion and video. I strongly recommend that
you see the video. Even if you don't do it all, there are some good tips here.

Two low pressure hoses are shown to go down from the first stages and then bend
across the shoulders. This bend in the low pressure hoses is not a problem.
Independent tanks require the use of a SPG on each tank. I don't believe
bending the high pressure hose across the back so the two SPG's can be mounted
together is a good idea. Another thought I had was to run the high pressure
hose from each post down and clip the SPG to the right and left side D-rings at
the waist level. I have never seen this done, but seems like a solution that
results in less stress to the high pressure hose. What are the disadvantages
to having a SPG for the left tank mounted on the left D-ring and a SPG from the
right tank mounted on the right D-ring?

I'm not interested in the manifold vs. independent tank discussion. This
thread would not be required in a manifold solution. Please send flames to
bit@bu*.co* and constructive comments to the list or me.
