The WKPP gear rigging video show hoses that are run down from the first stages. This is a great steamlining suugestion and video. I strongly recommend that you see the video. Even if you don't do it all, there are some good tips here. Two low pressure hoses are shown to go down from the first stages and then bend across the shoulders. This bend in the low pressure hoses is not a problem. Independent tanks require the use of a SPG on each tank. I don't believe bending the high pressure hose across the back so the two SPG's can be mounted together is a good idea. Another thought I had was to run the high pressure hose from each post down and clip the SPG to the right and left side D-rings at the waist level. I have never seen this done, but seems like a solution that results in less stress to the high pressure hose. What are the disadvantages to having a SPG for the left tank mounted on the left D-ring and a SPG from the right tank mounted on the right D-ring? I'm not interested in the manifold vs. independent tank discussion. This thread would not be required in a manifold solution.
