Subject: new daylight balanced cave light

Light and Motion has a slick new NiMH-HID cave light at DEMA. $1599. 500 
feet. 100 watt daylight balanced not tungsten. Two hour burn and very 
small. No battery memory. You can hold light and battery in one hand. HID 
yield 5x light equivalent of tungsten so 500 watts. 5500 degree kelvin, 
1000 hour lamp life. They are selling only ten at DEMA and that's it for 
a while. E-mail me and I'll buy you one. I leave Sat. night. Light head 
weighs 1.6 lbs (air), battery 2.6 lbs (air). Dimensions: light head 6" 
long, 3.25" dia. Battery 11" long, 2.6 high and 1.9 wide. Spare me cyl vs 
oval argument. extruded and machine aluminum. Halogen version $950. Extra 
battery pack $800. Mike Topolavic is a brilliant engineer. I don't have 
time nor the interest in listening to whining about this shape or that,
