First, allow me to apologize for my first message which, for reasons beyond my
understanding, had all of the linefeeds omitted.  My question is this:  Using
complete
helmets such as the DSI Superlites offer warmth advantages in extreme cold water
conditions.  (as opposed to FFM or bandmask configs).  Are the breathing
character-
istics of these helmets (i.e., gas consumption rate) prohibitive when using
open or
closed-circuit SCUBA as opposed to surface-supply?
