Subject: Re: That long hose thang...
This long hose "thang" has been beat todeath of late; so here is all I
will say and hope to see this thread (or "thang") put to rest
expediciously. In a high stress situation (which is what we must plan
for) the person wanting air won't care where it comes from but will find
the one in you mouth first. Whether you give away the reg in your mouth
or the other person takes it you should have a second reg handy at your
throat and this can easily go into your mouth without fumbling for it.
No one has to hunt for a reg and that is the important point to consider
in a stress situation. And if you think people will usually react
rationally under high stress then you have not had the benefit of life's
teacher of hard knocks.
