Coming from Mark Lonsdale, an endorsement of our safety procedures is a real compiment. Lonsdale can't call the dive because the conditions are less than perfect - he has to play, and in situations that make a cave dive look like a walk in the park. The key to diving the unknown is absolute discipline - the thing that can keep us all alive. Some of his books, especialy CRT Diver, cover this stuff. The other books are for more military-style operations, but it is amazing how the principles are the same as what we use. - G
