Subject: How to use a O2 rebreather?



Anybody knows what is the purging procedure to use with a O2 rebreather
(Closed circuit)?

I know that it is necessary to purge the system several time in order to
remove all diluent gas (and by doing so avoiding hypoxia). My understanding
is that emptying the breathing bag 2 or 3 times by exhaling through the nose
should work, is it enough, other things to consider?

I just got an O2 rebreather that I plan to use for O2 decompression stops
and in case of IWR. Any info are welcome. Merci d'avance
