Time he got used to managing without them and kick the habit, to save his health and his money. Smoking and gum chewing are @#%$& dirty scruffy habits. (3) Having to rush a lit fag to a surfacing diver as if it was a life-saving injection is a totally unnecessary complication during the already complicated operation of recovering surfacing divers, and may distract a man from watching out for more important things.
