 he above formual would probably approximate the BMD rebreather if it was 
still available.  As far as I know this formula will not work for the 
Odysee because they change r with depth d. ie r = r(d).

   Barry, you just incorporate the comprssion from surface volume to
get the effective volume. Put simply, is would be ten times the suface
volume at 300 feet, or , for you marines, you effectively have ten
times the gas. - G
