Not on my watch , but we (WKPP) are no longer involved anyway. In case nobody has noticed, we hold the permits and we are the Wakulla Project - the one and only. We dive scuba, we dive hogarthian, we dive WKPP rules, methods, equipment , techniques and personnel, and there are no, nor will there ever be , any exceptions to any of this, no matter who runs this project. We have asked that our permits be extended as long as it takes to get the job done, and the "job" is a lot more than Wakulla. We have interlocking permits throughout the region from three branches of government and grants from two more. We are working on several C.A.R.L. proposals on behalf of the State of Florida, we are working on three films, and possible a fourth, depending on the outcome of discussions I held today with one filmmaker. We are woring studies for two universities, and the Stae. We have laboratories set up on site and in Tallahasse. I would suggest that any questions about what is really going on in Leon Sinks or Wakulla be directed at the WKPP - we have seventy members, a solid twenty of which are on these lists. As long as we are addressing rumors , whoever the moron is who has spread some ridiculous rumor about the scooters we use can jump right up and hear this: we have NEVER had a failure of a Bill Gavin designed scooter, and that means we have not had a failure in the four years we have been using these scooters. When someone can show me the results of what they have done with some other scooter that matches ours, I will buy all they can sell me. In the meantime, if you don't know what you are talking about, don't talk about us.
