Santa brought me a new computer this Christmass, and since I'm a cave diver and not a "technical diver" I have no need for two computers. As a result I'm forced to retire my Suunto Solution Alpha. For those unfamiliar, the Solution Alpha is the newer version of the Suunto Solution. It features 25 hours dive profile, downloadable, date time stamping of each dive, minute by minute play back, dive profiler, it can be configured for profile times of 1 minute, 30 second or 20 second intervals. It's a full blown decompression computer (I've used it on about 80 or so deco dives). Has a backlit phosphor "glow in the dark" display. And more. It's got a very easy to read screen (all info at a glance), and has some improved features over the old Solution (such as a max depth rather then just a little arrow thingie, etc). This computer normally sells for $425 or so brand new. I'm going to replace the battery before I ship it out (and will provide copy of the receipt) since I have put about 160 hours on it since buying it in March. I've only had the computer for 9 months, and will include all of the original documentation, including the original box and the spiffy video tape. For all of this I'm asking the low price of $325! This is a giveaway price on this computer. I've seen used "solutions" (not even the alpha) going for $300+ recently. If you would like to give this computer a good home and you think you could use a real decompression computer then send me email (kens@uf*.ed*) and I'll ship it out.
