Alex, you are right about the "capture" aspect. I think what people are experiencing, and the reason I prefer the D.I.N. myself, is that the o-rings spend more time "protected" , being that they are on the reg rather than the tank side, and as such are either in play, or are covered up. On the other hand, you can more easily change a failed yoke o-ring by flipping it or if you carry spares, which I do on my yoke arrangements. Some DIN's have an extra o-ring in the middle seciton, like the USD, which fails quite reugularly, wheras the "natural" DIN's do not. The nice thing about a DIN o-ring failure is that it is usually more of an annoyance than a complete loss , as it is with the yoke, as the pieces do not get blown out. As far as ability to withstand pressure, either is fine. - G
