I have just returned from a presentation of the french MacSea/MaxSea
That is a plotting program for many several chart formats. The offer
was 40000 swedish crowns (5500 USD) for a Mac 6200 with 15" CRT,
built in Furuno GPS and a CD with 20 scanned charts of your choice.

The program hade several plotting modes, including depth on trac if
used with a sounder. The program can control an autopilot, and has
the possibillity to plot several ARPA radar targets.

The program can run on PowerBook laptops too.
