Andy If you choose to replace it with a viking valve, use a viking pro valve instead of the sport valve. It is much better. Has anyone had trouble with, or noticed how cheesy the little plastic-hinged inflator tab is on these things? Had a dive scrubbed this weekend when one broke right off while inserting the hose. Ambient temp was about 20F with a stiff wind; this was obviously a factor in the embrittlement of the tab's hinge. Have others broken these things, esp. in cold weather? Should we replace the inflator with, say an Apeks valve, or is there a way to lengthen the life of the OE ones? Thanks, Andrew IANTD 6791 NOAA Working Diver/Drysuit PADI DMC ____"Fool!
