These are obvious trolls, but, after some of the mindless responses to 
Ms. Hardman's postings, I found them -- well, too trollish -- to ignore....

A recent issue of Erie Insurance's consumer magazine cited a study that 
found that men tended to drive at higher speeds more consistently than 
women... and regard themselves as better drivers.

As long as we're getting into gross generalizations ... look at the diving 
fatality reports, and think about which sex, as a rule, tends to predominate.

P.S.:  never got a response to an earlier, low-tech question about what 
sorts of gear people have use to "bottom crawl" into swift rivers,
in an environment where the bottom is a combination of silt and stone.
Any suggestions or pointers to references would be appreciated.  Thanks.
