I use the AGA full face mask as my primary means of diving. I have never had
it fail, even under the ice, nor do I know of any failures with the
mask-including the fire departments and police departments that I know who
use them. In the AAUS Polar Ice Diving Preceedings, the AGA is rated number
one under the ice, no failures.

As for losing vision, whats the problem?? Put on a mask and your back in
business. If you cannot do that, then I don't reccommend diving with a full
face mask in the first place. 

If you know of full face mask failures, even On other than an AGA, I would be
very interested in the details.
