George We commonly use sound generators to help locate leaks/breaks in pipelines and other fluid containers. Would require some equip mods, but is a reasonable idea. What about other geophysical testing has been done to support the WKPP project? Please provide details if you have them. There are a number of other non-invasive geophysical techniques (other than sound waves) that could be used to help in the search for connections, I know that dye tests in potable aquifer are not held in high regards with state environmental regulaters. These techniques may allow the project to be more cost effective by allowing you to concentrate on those areas where connections are more probable.
