Yes, I would be able to complete the deco if my computer failed, for
two reasons not mentioned above.

First, I always carry at least one spare computer.  Second, I do plan
my deco dives from tables, and I do carry a fully redundant console --
my first stage has two HP ports, and when doing deco, I use two
independent first stages.  I monitor the computer to verify my bottom
time and air time, and if I were blown away from the boat and low on
air, I would be willing to follow it to the surface if necessary.

I do not carry tables on the dive, and I challenge anyone to show me
that the tables they are using are based on the *same* model as their
computer.  I am not aware of any current computer which uses the
*exact* same model as a published set of tables, save perhaps the
Suunto USN, which simply performs a table lookup.  Interesting, eh?
