Yes, I know it is. To me, really bad visibility is when I can't see my own fins. So don't bite my head off after the dive for sticking too close to buddies, out of habit, when I dive in very clear coral sea with nearly infinite visibility after over 200 dives in low-visibility British water. In bad visibility, some British divers often hold hands while diving to make sure that they don't lose each other while looking away for a few seconds.
