>Does anyone know anything about these new "Titanium" wetsuits? I've heard >they're thinner than neoprene for a given level of thermal protection. >I'm told they are made by SAS, in conjunction with Body Glove, and they're >a bit more expensive than neoprene suits. >Any thoughts? >Aloha, >Richard Pyle ---------------------------- Yup me ! I have a Titanium lined dry suit it is 6.5mm thick and I wear ordinary thermal underwear ( not a wooly bear of thinsulate)under it. Coming from the UK most of our winter dives are 3-7 degree's Celcius, the summer ones are a bit warmer ! My reasons for this rather than a more conventional solution was to reduce the weight that I would need to carry, I got 2 kg's off. Oh and by the way the zip failed on entering the water once and due to a combination of the tight fit and thermal properties of the suit I was able to continue the dive (wet). Hope this is of use.
