really, what is this "crotch strap" anyway, are you guys skydiving or
scuba diving?  no really.. if you have a catastrophic failure, just
unhook the three clips on the front of your bcd and turn the rig around
and "look" at the problem  (a skill i actualy learned skydiving, never 
touch anything before you look at it).. should save you some time and mental 
stress as well.

btw, we know why george likes the crotch straps, he probably ties a knot
in the back side at the right spot.. :-)
