Hi,

Has anyone else noticed that the manifold/indep debate is exactly the
same as the Spare Air/pony debate?

In both cases a slight increase in trouble (carrying a couple more Kg,
switching regs once per dive) is being traded off against a setup that
will only save your ass in a very limited set of circumstances.

The interesting thing, as I see it, is that a lot of the players have
switched sides!?!  People who support ponys over spare air, then
support manifolds over independents!!!!!!!

Do you want to comment on the manifold debate Carl?  (you were such
fun to watch in the SA/Pony fiasco) ;)
