I have consigned Eds light to be used as an executive paper weight. I have 
had many problems, the list includes:

Leaking switches - Aquasure and silicon gel eventually fixed the problem

Leaking Cord - This caused the test tube to fill up with water

Occasional ingress of water inside canister.

Overall quality of wiring, fittings are poor

Apart from all the above the biggest downer is that you have to butt mount 
them. This is a pain in the arse. 

I am now fully converted to AUL (thanks to George for his help) and find 
the light superior in every department. A
