Paul, maybe you can tell us about your engineering background? If the small
amount of air in the bateries causes a problem with a cannister light filled
with water, how about the square dive rite? The fact is that the dive
rite uses the batteries as a bulkhead. Why don't you check with the battery
manufacturer and see what they say bout this rather than spouting out your
nonsense about Exley? You have no idea what you are talking about, and
again are offering your "folksey" , misinformed, red neck crap as if
you know what you are are talking about. We in the cave diving community
are well aware that you do not. You do not do any real cave diving, and
we all know it.

gets. Putting another piece of material inside the housing just prevents
the housing from breaking, but still presses against the batteries.

I guess there are a lot of neurotic engineers out there, Paul.
By the way, did you even go to high school? The folks at dive rite
need no help in discrediting themselves. They have been doing a fine
job of that for twelve years. And now you are helping do more of the
same by insisting on this nonsense. Dive Rite need to start listening
to the people that do the real diving. - George Irvine

Paul , try some of your own advice.
