Subject: Re: Cave diving on Mars?

Joe, we might as well be on Mars . You would not
believe what goes into figuring out how to make it
less so. That is the part that nobody will ever
understand like the two of us do.

Go to the GUE website and see the grabs from Mini
Mee ( the scooter cam ) and the discussion there and
on the WKPP site. Actually, they may not be up yet -
Anthony should have them up in a day or so and I'll
post the url. We have video at 19,000 feet in.

That was our longest bottom time yet at about 400
minutes, but we did only 500 minutes deco. I am
still not sure if I took any damage from it. I
lifted weights this morning at Gold's and then ran.
It felt terrible, but I could lift the same weight,
and run the same speed, but I felt tired all day.
The problem is I got only 5 hours sleep after the
dive before I drove home, so it is hard to tell. I
definitely have no lung damage, no skin damage or
evidence of any pain anyplace, but my muscles feel
"winded" even thought they appear to be the same.
The only way to tell now is the blood markers, and
we have never showdn any problem using that test.

I can say it is nice to do 19,000 at 300 and make it
to dinner with my kid who is at FSU. The game has
reached a new level of sophistication.
