This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ------=_NextPart_000_000B_01BFEC06.23551280 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Hello al, =20 This is my first email to the list :-) =20 1) About "attitude" I was a stroke (and may be am still one) and then I heard about Hogarth, = DIR and WKPP, GUE and of course GI and JJ (and all the others). I read the cavers and wreckers mailing list for a long time before = sending my today's email (lurking for about 2 years). Of course I was surprised by the so-called "attitude" of GI. But remember I was a stroke.=20 Only strokes think that there could be a gray line between DIR = principles and the DIW bull shit vomited by those fake accounts. There is no gray line, and without the so-called "attitude" of GI I = would never have found it.=20 =20 Those fake accounts know that they lost the battle (they already = backtracked on some of their principles). What they are now trying to do is make us = (former-strokes-trying-to-become-DIR-divers) believe that there is this = gray line and that they represent it.=20 Bull shit. =20 To all of you who are just looking from the outside at this exchanges of = emails just ask yourself why a guy like GI (with all his background) = would be shouting at things YOU think are meaningless?=20 Why? If you haven't the answer or think that he should smooth his so called = "attitude", it means that you still think that there is a gray line, and = you are still a stroke.=20 The so called "attitude" of GI forces you make a choice : you have to = choose your side either DIR or DIW but not in between. =20 George and al, I don't know you and think I will never have the = opportunity to see you one day but I really what to thank you for your = so called "attitude". Please keep pointing those so-called "small meaningless" details in the = gray line. I don't have your experience to do it myself and your work is very = valuable (for me at least). =20 2) On destrocking I rigged a DIR harness, and I use it with a single tank of 15 liters (I = think it is more or less your 100 cu.ft) with a Y valve (no overhead = diving for the moment). By the way, I am just re-discovering diving! My problem is that I cannot reach my valves to shut them down. What can be the problem (is it the rigging, the position of the tank, = the fact that there is a single tank adaptor)? =20 3) Welcome to strokeland Is there any DIR diver here in France (or maybe here in Paris)? France is a country full of strokes, you cannot imagine! Deep air is everywhere... We do not have a strong DIR community, I think that its due to the = language barrier. Too bad, it made me loose so much time and expose me to so much dangers. Worse, I was an instroketor (CMAS **) teaching all those DIW principles = (glad that I never killed one of my students). Of course I stopped teaching the day that I learned about DIR. I am now waiting to complete my former-stroke-trying-to-become-DIR-diver = journey to teach again, but DIR principles this time. Halcyon and Extreme-Exposure are not represented here, I have to order = my gear via the US and pay huge shipping/custom/VAT taxes. But I think its still worth the price... =20 Thank you for all, and sorry if I took some bandwidth, but I really feel = better now ;-) Boubker Badr. ------=_NextPart_000_000B_01BFEC06.23551280 Content-Type: text/html; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

<META content=3D"text/html; charset=3Diso-8859-1" = http-equiv=3DContent-Type> <META content=3D"MSHTML 5.00.2314.1000" name=3DGENERATOR>

Hello al,

This is my first email to the = list=20 :-)

1) About "attitude"
I was a stroke (and may be am = still one)=20 and then I heard about Hogarth, DIR and WKPP, GUE and of course GI and = JJ (and=20 all the others).
I read the cavers and wreckers mailing list for a = long time=20 before sending my today's email (lurking for about 2 years).
Of = course I was=20 surprised by the so-called "attitude" of GI.
But remember I was a = stroke.=20
Only strokes think that there could be a gray line between DIR = principles=20 and the DIW bull shit vomited by those fake accounts.
There is no = gray line,=20 and without the so-called "attitude" of GI I would never have found it.=20

Those fake accounts know that they lost the battle (they = already=20 backtracked on some of their principles).
What they are now trying to = do is=20 make us (former-strokes-trying-to-become-DIR-divers) believe that there = is this=20 gray line and that they represent it.
Bull shit.

To all = of you=20 who are just looking from the outside at this exchanges of emails just = ask=20 yourself why a guy like GI (with all his background) would be shouting = at things=20 YOU think are meaningless?
Why?
If you haven't the answer or = think that=20 he should smooth his so called "attitude", it means that you still think = that=20 there is a gray line, and you are still a stroke.
The so called = "attitude"=20 of GI forces you make a choice : you have to choose your side either DIR = or DIW=20 but not in between.

George and al, I don't know you and = think I=20 will never have the opportunity to see you one day but I really what to = thank=20 you for your so called "attitude".
Please keep pointing those = so-called=20 "small meaningless" details in the gray line.
I don't have your = experience to=20 do it myself and your work is very valuable (for me at = least).

2)=20 On destrocking
I rigged a DIR harness, and I use it with a single = tank of 15=20 liters (I think it is more or less your 100 cu.ft) with a Y valve (no = overhead=20 diving for the moment).
By the way, I am just re-discovering = diving!
My=20 problem is that I cannot reach my valves to shut them down.
What can = be the=20 problem (is it the rigging, the position of the tank, the fact that = there is a=20 single tank adaptor)?

3) Welcome to strokeland
Is there = any DIR=20 diver here in France (or maybe here in Paris)?
France is a country = full of=20 strokes, you cannot imagine!
Deep air is everywhere...
We do not = have a=20 strong DIR community, I think that its due to the language = barrier.
Too bad,=20 it made me loose so much time and expose me to so much = dangers.
Worse, I was=20 an instroketor (CMAS **) teaching all those DIW principles (glad that I = never=20 killed one of my students).
Of course I stopped teaching the day that = I=20 learned about DIR.
I am now waiting to complete my=20 former-stroke-trying-to-become-DIR-diver journey to teach again, but DIR = principles this time.
Halcyon and Extreme-Exposure are not = represented here,=20 I have to order my gear via the US and pay huge shipping/custom/VAT=20 taxes.
But I think its still worth the price...

Thank = you for=20 all, and sorry if I took some bandwidth, but I really feel better = now=20 ;-)
Boubker Badr.

------=_NextPart_000_000B_01BFEC06.23551280--
