Leslie, everyone,
The accident occurred in San Diego. I don't have all the info yet, but I
just got off the phone to the victim, & he said that he was using something
like EAN 78, and he turned on the valve & there was an explosion. I have no
other particulars, but I heard that the reg was an Atomic Z1. I have no
idea if that has anything to do with what happened.
The vicitm was in a bit of pain -- he is in the Burn Unit with
third-degree burns -- so I didn't press him for details. I will speak to
him again tomorrow. Perhaps he will be able to give me the gory details
then.

Saw on the local news in LA last night about a tank blowing up due to the
the fill up of O2 into an unclean cylinder. "diver was using a higher than
normal amount of Oxygen in his tank".
BTW, Cuba really sucked. Remember Rule #1. Fled off to the cenotes in
Akumal and had a much better time. Write for details. Heh Heh.
